The WWF Weakest Link. Hysterical.
*screams* Next door has been drilling the wall for TWO HOURS!!! Really loud drilling too. It's driving me insane. In a minute they're going to get Lit or Blink 182 turned up full volume with the speakers facing the wall. Then again with all the drilling they've been doing the wall'd probably collapse. In the daytime at the weekend I could tolerate this noise but not for 5-7pm on a Tuesday evening. Hello!! You do have neighbours!!!!
I've almost finished chapter eight of Reverie finally! I'm also ecstatic because I finally found the perfect use for a character I introduced back in chapter four or five for reasons that are now redundant. Unfortunately the chapter is now too long so all the stuff I planned on putting in this chapter will now have to go in the next one. Dammit. I had such a great cliffhanger planned too. Hhhmm could I still work that in? Possibly.
*grins* I got to finish college at 11:30am today!! And tomorrow, apparently, I have no Psychology last lesson so I can finish 12:45. *smiles* However I have to do my english homework tomorrow.
Oh! Speaking of english we had the Troll-woman today. We quite clearly told her last week that we had *decided* by majority vote to do Great Expectations. However today - when we were supposed to be starting with a clean slate - she brings in photocopies of the first page of The Colour Purple - which Martin ranted about at length and which we clearly didn't want to do - told us that Great Expectations is almost three times the length og The Colour Purple which instantly persuaded about six members of the class that doing the Colour Purple would mean much less effort on their part. Then we spent *an hour and twenty minutes* doing questions on a book which we didn't even want to do!! *screams insults at the Troll-woman* I told her that if the rest of the class agreed to do it - and I mean the entire class since a large amount of people weren't there today for Troll-woman's lesson; I wonder why? - then I would do the Colour Purple, but I was not at all impressed with it, especially since I was already halfway through Great Expectations which I had bought specially and was enjoying it. Even worse she'd told us to bring magazines for the lesson last week because we would be working on adverts and we didn't. She has no idea how to teach at all. After the Head of English raved at length on her superb qualifications, I find myself skeptical about the quality of the staff at college. Fools. All of them.
I've gone back to the english rant again. I miss Martin!! *cries* Bring back our teacher!
Okay I'm going back to Reverie now. At least the drilling's stopped so I can concentrate. ^-^
