I've lost all track of what's going on. Except states keep getting called for Bush.

What's going wrong here people? I had such hopes. I had dreams. I had faith in democracy and that no one *that* stupid could be elected *twice*.

Oh right, he cheated the first time. Sorry. *Once*, fairly.

I can't stay up much longer; I do have a seminar tomorrow. But I keep hanging on, hoping I can go to sleep on a high note. Please. Just *one* high note before I go to bed.

I can only say that it ain't over until the fat lady sings and all I can hear right now is echoing, deafening silence.

The bulk of the population (and the Kerry voting contingent) is along either coast. So, because of time differences, the middle States that almost always go Republican are going to be called one right after another right now. Those were expected to go that way. It's up to a couple of really close races that will probably end up in litigation anyway for the decision.

Personally, I'd go to bed.

Damnit! Election is right in the middle of my exams, and I am far, far too easily distracted by it.

I can not believe the difference in votes between Bush and Kerry! How come we can't get to vote? I think our say is valid, especially considering that the American President is the so-called "Leader of the Free World". I'm assuming that Australia and the UK are part of the "Free World".

And I'm definitely with you - HATE the colour red! Ugh. There's just WAY too much red on the screen right now.

I think there should be some way for the countries of the world to have a say, no matter how small.

Many Americans seem to think the rest of the world hates them - which inmy opinion isn't true. The rest of the world just hates Bush. If I was Prime Minister, I'd have sent assassins after him by now. (A girl can dream...)

Stupid red. Stupid states. Stupid election.
