So last night we decided to watch Sleepy Hollow, despite it being after midnight and therefore technically not Halloween anymore. I don't know why I didn't enjoy it as much as I usually do. Maybe it was the tiny tv or something - Johnny Depp screaming like a woman and running away from the spider just... I don't know. I didn't find it funny as usual. Maybe I was just having an off-day.
But then, after the requisite 2am snack and random discussion about whether or not to cook pasta, we watched Clueless which, as always, was fantastic. So that made me feel better. ^__^ Heh.
Then, after going to bed at four, I rolled out of bed at nine and staggered to my seminar. After NOT falling asleep reading Andrew Marvell, I bought a train ticket home for Thursday, bought basic food essentials and looked up the time of the meeting tomorrow about studying abroad. It's during my Creative Writing seminar. Bastards. Why can't they have these things in the evening WHEN NO ONE IS IN CLASS? *takes a deep breath* So I'm gonna email the guy who they mentioned on the notice and ask about anything I might miss in the English specific meeting. There's another one Wednesday I might wander along to but it's aimed at the Management students so may be boring for me. I still have no idea why I'm so interested in this whole going abroad thing, because I suspect actually going may be a little weird and freaky. But... cool at the same time you know? So we'll see.
Also asked after the equestrian club, just to see (and because the horses in Sleepy Hollow last night made me and a flatmate want to go riding again) and got their email address. So highly productive morning really.
Although now I have to run, as I have a lecture in like ten minutes... and it's a nine and a half minute walk away.
Later!
Clo
