Hhhmm... Classical!Slash.
May. 30th, 2004 05:29 pmMy wonderful plans for revising today seem to have not materialised as of yet but I'm in the mood for ficcing and my muses seem willing to make that Odyssey ficcing, so things are looking up. And it's not even all going to be slash. Yes, I was surprised too.
Looking forward to the whole spend-all-day-in-the-cinema thing tomorrow with Troy and of course Prisoner of Azkaban which I am anticipating with mixed excitement and dread. So far everything I've heard is good; if it hadn't been I wouldn't be going to see it at all. Almost makes me glad Good Omens hasn't made it to the big screen; I'd probably hate whatever they did to that too. Though Johnny Depp as Crowley? That'd probably make me a somewhat happier bunny. Also was flicking through one of my favourite Discworld books Maskerade earlier and was trying to mentally cast actors for all the characters - realising Judy Dench was my mental Granny Weatherwax left me staring into space for a few minutes going... "WTF?"
No parents till Tuesday! They left yesterday morning and already the kitchen is a mess. And me and my brother weren't even home all day yesterday. So it was quite an accomplishment. It's remarkably peaceful in the house without them here - we actually have the X-box and the GameCube spread across the living room floor and no-one has complained. *bliss*
I bought a random RotK mug with Frodo and Sam on it yesterday because it was really cheap... and Elijah Wood's eyes now follow me around the room. It's vaguely freaky. The slasher in me found the fact Sean Astin was looking at Elijah rather than anywhere else quite amusing though.
Now, to go in search of caffeine before I settle down to write Odyssey!fic. Hhmm, coffee.
