clo_againRealised this morning that I hadn't listened to Creed for ages and immediately wanted to go home and get my cd player. Unfortunately I was already in college so I had to wait all day, but it was worth it. *grins*
Not even going to rant about Psych tonight. Suffice to say: GAH.
On the plus side everything else was fun. ^-^ We're doing Sunday supplement magazines in Media and we have to come up with names for our magazines and the newspaper it comes from. I think I'm calling my magazine Paragon, but when I suggested calling my newspaper 'On The Fence' Kev said I couldn't really because most newspapers were very opininated. I told him; well maybe people would like to read something that isn't opininated *smirks at Kev*. Just me being pedantic. Then me and Laura were talking about weddings and marrying Mark. Then we asked Mark if he needed a shrink (because a magazine article said real men don't need shrinks) and the look on his face was priceless.
I would like to put part of a conversation we had in english today, just to prove that it's as mad as I say it is.
Martin: "Okay so what's the meaning of irony?"
Laura: "Being ironic"
Martin: "So what's the meaning of ironic?"
Trixie: "Getting hit by a milk float is ironic."
Dennis: "I've been hit by a milk float, what's ironic about that?!!"
Trixie: "Oh! I want to get hit by a milk float! On my tombstone I want 'Death by Milk Float'"
Yes, this was actually a class discussion. Now do you see why I like english so much?
And now I'm going to go and stuff my face with Chinese. Yey! Chinese food!
